PH: 0422 490 063 (Adelaide, South Australia) Record companies & singers are welcome to ring or sms if you can't get through at least. Emails are also welcome. Working on a few projects right now but still keen to get things moving - ideally on a live sense in the music scene.
I'm also locatable on Facebook & Neatvibe but am usually contactable almost 24/7 on this ancient technology known as Email. Bit old fashioned but it still works, surviving amongst the blogging methods of today.
Influences
Bob Sinclair, Pet Shop Boys, Soul Searcher, M-People, Paul Van Dyke, Robert Miles & the Freemasons. James Brown & Prince. Supergrass, Queen, U2, Chris Isaak. Mike Post, Velton Ray Bunch, Fred Mollin with Goth & Country Singer Lori Yates, Delia Derbyishire, Ron Grainer, Keff McCulloch & Murray Gold. OMD (pioneers of dance/house 1990s dance - but they were around in the 1980s pulling of cool bizzaro electronica). Pet Shop Boys. The Shadows (cool guitar riffs but simple).
Jean Michelle Jarre & Ed Starink (a Dutch composer/producer who copied most of Jean Michelle & other electronic producers music rather well). Fourth Rendevouz was the track that got me into it. The 1970s /1980s classic with a house beat all electronic which was interesting - not sure if anyone else had beaten him to it back in the day but it was all electronic sounds with a great backing beat - rather MC303ish drum kits.
Also Alans Parsons Project - the original Mammagamma was house music before house music came to use. Cool synths, pads, great bass track with what I'm assuming was a delay pedal of the era & I suspect a guitar track - never sure. Sounds great with a dance beatmix thats for sure.
Oh yeah, the Rogue Traders, U2 & Skyhooks as my electro pop kinda sounds like all three of them blended together - without the vocals though.
Sounds Like
Funky Trance, Techno, Rave, Club, Jazz & Blues bit of drum & bass, trip hop & did I mention Electronica????

Currently studying information technology & composing music. My latest tracks I have been working on involve funky-trance club, drum & bass, trip hop & blues guitar mixed in on occasion. One of the newest processes I've had involves converting graphical designs into audio. A BITMAP is converted into digital audio. You can "hear" photography or even design.
I've been a keyboard, piano player & guitarist since the 1980s in school. Been fooling around with Mac & Windows MIDI technology since the early 1990s. Still a mac kid at heart, now they are better. Studied electronic music at Adelaide UNI, four years radio broadcasting (from djing to talkback & production including a some morning breakfast show production experience. Technically speaking I was an assistant producer & panel operator/driver to the news announcers on AM Radio. The cool thing was it was the radio station's flagship program). I also produced & presented my own dance/house/trance/club music shows throughout those early years. Between four radio stations I have accumulated about five years broadcasting experience.
In 1993 at the age of 17 I studied an a Certificate in Electronic Music at Adelaide University & in 1995 I also joined a radio station where I produced dance music shows, DJ'd & did some websites back in those early Internet days. I have also worked as a nightclub DJ & MC & a fashion show DJ & live video multimedia producer on an off so it has been an interesting ride. I also have filmed live bands, produced websites for them & worked as an audio engineer many years ago both in an out of the radio broadcasting scene. I have been a composer for soundtracks that have made they're way to DVD, radio & television commercials.
Currently breaking down a Degree in IT at present which I may take to the highest level at UNI so I'm jumping between that work & music all the time. Qualified & experienced in Radio, Retail, Multimedia & Electronic Music (from Adelaide Uni). I also have a bunch of other qualifications but the ones previously mentioned I'm the most proud of as I've worked damn hard to get them!! Lots of study, lots of music & lots of pizza failing the Nacho Burger (that dream seems to be like Kirks Kandy (had more sugar then coke, was flying high indeed after a six pack of it), still clinging onto the past!) - thats pretty much it though getting into some film production stuff as well so check out the concept at http://synthianet.com for more info there. It is just an idea at this stage as I've been toying around with it for sometime now, doubt it will get it off the ground but it is different then then norm we have on TV these days. Just a hobbie at present but if it takes off then I'm committed to it.
Full time composer for Synthia Net - Radio & now TV Ads. Got various audio and music composition qualifications. The story does go for longer but I won't have space on this server! :)
I do have a bunch of sound modules, midi based software & a ton of virtual synthesizers. I also have a cool 12 string acoustic Always on the look out for more sound & IT gear. Next venture is a bass guitar. Preferably 5 or 6 but I may just have to settle for a 4. Why 5? Well the Eb is nice for club & electronic music & generates an alpha state of sort mentally speaking, easier to get to on an open string on the bass (a dream).
Thanks for the add mate! and cheers for the comment! appreciate it alot! feeling ya tracks man, i dig chill out trip hop alot, you got a good thing going on keep at it! Thanks again Heiro!
