I’m a singer-songwriter & recording artist, originally from Arizona, now living in Austin, Texas. My solo debut "Call Me Lonesome" was released in 2005, and the follow up "Here With You Tonight" came out in 2006. My third solo disc, "West Texas Wine" will be released in March 2008. Previously I produced some records for my former bands "Trophy Husbands," "Nitpickers," "Chaingang," and "Politics or Pontiacs." I’ve enjoyed a lot of nice attention from fans and critics since the release of my solo albums, and I’ve toured all over the country making club & festival appearances. "Call Me Lonesome" reached 19 on the Americana Chart and was one of Third Coast Music’s "Top 10 debut albums" of 2005. "Here With You Tonight" debuted at number 1 on the Freeform American Roots (FAR) chart and met an enthusiastic response from fans. I’m very grateful that my records enjoy airplay on radio stations across the country, and that people enjoy coming out to see us play. Thanks to all my supporters!
In my spare time, I like to climb mountains. When I was younger, I did several "first ascents," including the North Face of Toothrock (Marble Canyon, AZ) and West Face of Tower Butte (Glen Canyon National Park). Nowadays I only do easy climbs, and I play a lot of music.
Thanks for dropping by my site! Cheers, and take care, Dave

What's up man... was digging through some stuff (moved down to southern california from up north) and found a CD with pictures on it from our show at Stims a while back, thought I'd swing by and see how you're doing. Things are good here... put out a new record in march with Bryn from Buffalo Creek, I'd love to mail you a copy, and I see that you have a new record out too!?
I have a very good friend and bass player extraordinaire who is moving to Austin in a month or so. I can put you two in touch if you are in need.
Anyways, glad to see you're still busy as ever, and give me a call when you're headed out to LA in August, I'd love to catch up over a brew.
