Regarded by many as one of the most talented up-and-coming artists in the business, DARIEN BROCKINGTON is proving that he truly is one of R&B’s brightest new stars. Those familiar with Darien’s work know him from his appearances on projects from The Foreign Exchange (Connected) and numerous album and mixtape projects with Atlantic Records hip hop group, Little Brother. Drawing from a wide range of influences like Donny Hathaway, Faith Evans, Daryl Coley and Sandy Patti, Darien's music is a reflection of both the past and present. His music speaks of life, love, faith and so much more.
Darien has worked with a host of talented artists, having toured with gospel great William Becton and R&B star Jaheim. He has been featured on projects by hip hop legend Pete Rock and UK “drum & bass” pioneers, 4Hero. And of course Darien has recorded extensively with Little Brother and the rest of the Hall of Justus family.

Dead Poet would like to present a new song titled “Losing to Win” feat. “Q” that will be on the groups upcoming EP “In Loving Memory”. The track is broken into three distinctive perspectives over a consistent topic in which one is from a story perspective, one from third person, and another from personal experience. Sacrificing and going the extra mile to the top is what the title stands for. The chorus is voiced by female vocalist “Q” and musical production is by way of producer The 17th Dimension.
