He attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2004, after which he moved back to Colorado, where he tried to combine going to medical school with developing a musical career. He self-released his debut album, New Every Morning, on September 17, 2004, and followed it with Wirebird on January 11, 2007. At the end of 2007, he took a break from medical school in order to devote himself to music. His 2008 EP, Many Sparrows, available free as a download from his website, www.dcraigmusic.com, was followed by his third full-length album, Skin Grows Thin, in the spring of 2008. ~ William Ruhlmann
