About me: Beyond Good and Evil ..
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1951 into a family with three other siblings, all boys. Growing up, I had little interest in the activities of others my age. I was deeply philosophical and too intense for most people, even at the age of seven. While other kids asked their parents where babies come from, my questions were more somber. I would ask, "What happens when you die? Does consciousness continue beyond the grave?"
When I got to be too much, my parents would send me to my grandmother's place. Besides my darling Lillee, she was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally.
Throughout my life, I've never really been what you would call a follower, but I was driven by insatiable curiosity to understand the answer to all of life's questions. My firm position was that you can't possibly find all the answers burying your face in a book or listening to the opinions of other people. You have to qualify this information with experience - take the active, not passive approach. And so, throughout my teen years, I traveled and knocked on many doors.
My journey took me to a chapel, a cathedral, a synagogue, the Church of Scientology, a Buddhist and Hindu temple, etc. I even explored political venues from the Socialist Workers Party, the Libertarians to the Conservative Republicans. In 1970, I entered the Church of Satan. I was a public Satanist for 38 years and today I am the founder of my own hermetic tradition - ASTra or the Allee Shadow Tradition.
Who I'd like to meet: Lots of shallow groupies who want to jump my bones so they can later tell their friends that they've slept with me. But seriously, I get along with people who are sincere and intelligent.
BEHOLD, PENIS ROCK. A NATURALLY OCCURRING PHENOMENON IN PROVINCETOWN, MA. DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO BE SAID FOR THE ENERGY OF THE AREA LEAVING AN IMPRINT ON THE EARTH. LOL!
Hey John! Here is the publication I had requested an article for. The article I discussed with Lillee centers on spiritual practice.
This issue focuses on Peace, and can be downloaded from the website.
www. ifjournal. org. I interviewed Steve Leyba, and wrote an article entitled 'The Science of Peace'. I thought this would be a great opportunity for you to review the publication, before deciding to submit an article.
You can read mine for free, the rest of the publication is subscription only.
(In reference to the interview) Though I would naturally argue just a few of your points as always, lol, your words were a pleasure to listen to,an inspiration in many parts and a lesson to all universally, bro :) .. (Eric G)
Hello John. Long time to speak. How have you been? You both look well and happy. Did you sell the Black house in Salem? I see you're in NY now. Hope to catch up with you soon. !HS!
