Cody O'Connor is your captain on the show and boy does he steer the ship into some rough waters. He began the show with angry political rants that always stirred up debates and over the past year or so has brought the show to new depths of low. While angry politics still make it's way on the show once in a while, most of the time you'll find Cody going almost too far with his edgy comedy. Which lead us to our next member.

Michael Mehigan takes things over the line and that's why we love him. He's been on the show since the beginning and watched it grow and then stay the same for the rest of the time.

Curtis Manchester is a newcomer to the show. The man to fill the shoes of former co host Robby Miller and bring the program into a new era of great radio. So far he's done a great job at proving himself as a radio man.
About me: TUNE IN!
The Cody O'Connor Show is a talk radio show and podcast where free speech is encouraged and no topic of discussion is spared. Politics are discussed frequently as controversial issues are dissected by the libertarian host and liberal co-host. However, it doesn't stop there. Movies, games, nostalgia, comedy, and every other topic under the sun is a brought up on the show. And you can bring up whatever you want too by e-mailing us at codyoconnorshow@yahoo.com

Who I'd like to meet: Someone who can make us big! Please?
hey Cody - thanks for adding us to your friends list! - if you like, please help yourself to a free mp3 of "Skin" from our myspace player - have a good 4th of July! - John / William / Farren -Red Cross Sky-
merry christmas, code man. I've gotta hand it to you your show is a rockin talkin show, good flow and style you know. Way to go. Hey its christmas I can make lame rhymes because its nostaligic. lol
hahah nice analysis of Mr. Moneybags and his vengeful cane-handling. BTW, I think a little black thong would look better on an aborted fetus than a tiny top hat, child porn at it's finest... eh?
When I said "shows," I didn't mean that your podcast wasn't credible; I didn't know if "show" was the right term, that is all. Sorry for the misundertstanding.
And by the way, I'm not downing you for your opinions. I just personally believe that the news is definitely important and informative, even though they often tend to focus on unimportant things.
And, by the way, meat may be "yummy," but it's also jam-packed with hormones, feces, artifical fillers, and lots of pain and abuse.
Hey Cody/Robbie. I finally remembered to add your show a week or so ago, and now I've finally listened to some of your podcasts. It seems you lack decent topics at times, and your entire "shows" end up being centered around some obscure joke and Robbie's mumbling. Also, in regards to the news, I agree that a bigger deal is made out of simple things (such as bridges falling and the like) just to have something to talk about. However, when you mentioned the people dying and getting raped in Darfur, that was going too far. Yes, everyone knows that terrible things happen there every day, but the more people ram it down America's throats, the more likely people will start giving a fuck and help whoever is suffering.
Anyway, I will continue sporadically listening to your podcast and giving you my opinions. Take care.
Cody, we are always looking to get to know and stay in touch with other talented podcasters. We have met some great people this way and i'm sure in the future we can get something going.
I actually listened to a bit of a few shows to get a good feel and play on checking you out more in the future as well.
If you ever wanna use a bit of Awful Show comedy on the show, feel free to use any of our bits available on our site at http://www.awfulshow.com/media.html
Keep up the good work and thanks for the top friends add. Keep in touch.
Got your bulletin. As the parent of one of you, I'm really proud of you guys for taking a stand on the Muslim hating issue and not just following the crowd. You will be accused of being bleeding heart liberals, being unpatriotic, being un-American, anti-Christian (when, in fact, Jesus would not condone flagrant racism or hatred, but Jesus seems to have been lost in the equation even for the some so called "Christians") etc. Just as in hindsight we can see that the Japanese internment camps of the WWII era were an inhumane atrocity, so will we see - unfortunately as a nation in hindsight - that the fear and hatred of peaceful Muslims was also a human rights atrocity. I do not agree with everything found in the Koran, and some of the passages, frankly, I find disturbing. But I have also long studied the Bible and there are stories in it that are disturbing as well. Any religious text can be twisted by fanatics to do great evil. An entire population should not be punished for the crimes of a few, and in your extreme youth if you recognize this you hold, if there are enough of you collectively, the power to change the world. Oh, and by the way, the iPhone is evil. It must be destroyed. Now.
So I'm definatly going to have to say that this show is something special. Every time I listen to you guys I'm not only informed but I never hesitate to laugh. Good work.
The Thoreau discussion was gratifying as Thoreau is one of my great personal heroes. May I suggest that you guys read Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay titled "Self Reliance" and comment on that.
I understand it was alleged in the next show that co-host Robby is "gay." I have two objections - first, why is being gay an insult? Have we not reached a point in this society where we can accept the minority sexual orientation? I have gay friends - they're great people.
OK, so...Robby's not gay. But here's the larger issue. Apparently the allegation of gayness was made because he does not find bimbo Hollywood celebrities appealing. Rob has not been brought up being pre-programmed to like big blonde hair and artificial body parts. Could it be that many young men are simply buying into a media image of what is attractive in women - in other words, blindly accepting an Orwellian groupthink notion of beauty that has been created to sell everything from cosmetics to cars to God knows what? I'm not suggesting that Rob is not a red blooded American male who will choose a mate partially on physical attraction, but I think the woman's brain power, integrity, and personality will have alot to do with his ultimate choice. I can't, somehow, imagine Robby coming home to an empty headed tart who says, "Guess what I did today??? I bought more shoes!!! Do you wanna see 'em? Do you?" Uh...no.
Libertarians are supposed to be free thinkers, and liberals are supposed to like women with hairy legs and armpits...that's a joke...I'm kidding, but you get the point. Don't limit your choices of potential mates to Barbie look-alikes who may not be able to keep up with you intellectually. And don't assume that men who aren't interested in being Barbie's next Ken are gay.
The show is really coming along, by the way - getting better - again, I think there are things you can do to make it appeal to a wider audience and therefore be more effective in the long run, but live and learn. You're off to a great start. And I won't miss the slogan. ;-)
