I love being barefoot with some good music in the background while I am painting something that makes people smile. My process always starts with music. I crank up the volume, feel the groove and work on whatever project I feel like working on...or should work on. Someones got to clean the toilets.
I love being a mom and having the opportunity to stay at home and watch every accomplishment that Emma Blue makes. I love going to the beach with my husband and digging my feet in the sand and feeling the breeze off the ocean. I love blasting the music in the car and Emma singing along to some favorites.

Music
All kinds, Anything from Christina to Hootie and the Blowfish. My husband and I have been to many concerts and have so much memorabilia that we decorate our studio with drum sticks, set lists, harmonicas and other cool stuff. Some of the best concerts we have been to and would recommend to anyone would be, Lisa Loeb, Jason Mraz, Blues Travelor, Gwen Stefani, Garbage, Hootie and the Blowfish,Natalie Merchant, Evenescence, Everclear, Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Cowboy Mouth, Soul Assylum, Tonic, and Maroon Five. That is all I can think of at the moment. I would love to see Matchbox 20, Sara Bareilles, and Colbie Caillat. Oh yeah and my husband bought me the Ingrid Michealson cd for my birthday. She is awesome. I love her folky style. Check her out!!!

I am a sap. I love love stories. Steve loves anything with explosions and bang um up suff so I have to compromise and just turn my head when I am grossed out. I am a wimp with scary stuff. Somthing else to know about me huh!
Television
"So you think you can dance" started this season and I am addicted already!. I used to love Idol but am sick of it! I love 24 but it isn't coming this season (whats up with that?) CSI (all of them) Law and Order, Criminal Minds and Lost. Believe it or not I can handle all of these. :)
Books
Love to read. It is relaxing and I get lost in the stories. I am currently reading "The Shack" by William P. Young. It is a good book.

I am a whimsical folk artist. I dab in anything and everything I can get my hands on, wood, glass, old windows, canvas, ect. I sell my art through my web site and different places I display. I participate in about five or six art shows a year.I am addicted to chocolate, I have a strong faith in God, I love the beach,could do without season changes and live in a fixer upper if it was possible. Like everyone, I have a past with mistakes and hurts but have made peace with it and moved on to become a stronger, wiser, humbler Crystal, I hate sports, love polka dots, I am an animal lover, I'm close to my family and have a cluster of good friends that I could share anything with and not be judged, I used to hate country music and said I would never listen to it and now I do. My eyes change colors depending on what color I am wearing. I love daisies more than roses. Love the color blue henceforth my childs middle name is "Blue". Love thunderstorms and playing in the puddles after a humid rain, when steam is rising from the asphalt. I hate halloween and anything scary. I am blonde and love to talk. So I could go on and on but I won't!

Good Morning.... Just wanted to stop by. How is your studio coming along? Funny, how I start in my little studio, then decided I would paint in the garage, but always end up on my table in the house. Don't ask me why.... It's cool enough outside now to stay in my little studio.. maybe I should. Well... hope your week is going well. I have been so busy painting every night... too many ideas going on in my head at one time. LOL Take it easy....
hey, my husand and I went and saw the movie fireproof lastnight. Y'all really should go see it. It was a great christian movie with a great story line. We really enjoyed it.
