The Sensation Junkies is the name of the last band i was in... "Once for the money" is a record that started out as a demo for SONY and ended up being released as is by Sarathan...I am grateful that this record was released at all...The band was short lived due to many variables, some of which were beyond my control. The music prevails though. This was a collection of some brillant musicians. We had a mission to make a record on a less than shoe-string budget.. over the course of a few months... I traveled across the country on and off for about two years by myself for the most part. I promoted it to empty rooms and the ass cracks of the regulars that would bethere whether i was or not. i lost some great friends because of where i allowed my self to sink to. I did alot of dope to get through this time in my life and finally i just did a little time.
check out this psychedelic ditty In Threes i recorded with my dear frind mr. revolver awhile ago.
This was my most recent release and quite possibly my favorite ...I loved working with the producer DC Cooper and band mates, those who recorded the record and those who played the shows with me... Dc cooper and I wrote it in a few months and we recorded it in essentially three days...It took two years to release it because i fucked up and got on the wrong side of the record label..Now that it is out let me just say this about the record business "What a bunch of lovely people that i really enjoyed doing business with. They really helped my music and my life. Without the help of this label I would be lost and lonely in this world inundated with 50 year old aspiring rocks stars and fucking idiots with too much money."
This record took me two years to make and 6 years to pay off... i love it . I am so grateful to Kufala records for re-releasing it properly. I hope you enjoy it.
You can check out some of the paintings of Luis Sanchez (he painted the cover of my record "roomtones" due out April 2007. his work is truly beautiful and his life story is inspirational. CLICK HERE.

The Bathtub Test
During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No" said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"
ARE YOU GOING TO PASS THIS ON, OR DO YOU WANT THE BED NEXT TO MINE ?
