Here it is. Your first taste of the new musical brew from musicians you know and trust -- guys who've done time bringing you the Dames, Farewell Tour, Seed Math, and Words to a Film Score. This is Cars & Trucks. This is music to smile like the cheshire cat to. Just sit back, relax, and think: the Beatles, the Monkees, the Who, the Kinks. Dream of Brendan Benson and Matthew Sweet. Have visions of Cheap Trick or Guided by Voices. If you're into music that is more filled with hooks than Babe Winkelman's tackle box, this band is for you.
I enjoyed your show last night, particularly the part where some drunk asshole stood on a chair in front of me and came precariously close crushing me in a death-fall.
2:38 this morning I get a voicemail from mom....I hear this kick ass Led Zeplin cover band!!! I just had to laugh my ass off...I wish I could have been there! One of these days I will be able to see you play!
When are you kids coming to D.C.? You can stay at our house. It's nice and comfy. I'd go to Duluth, but who goes to Duluth? Except people from Duluth? Don't get me wrong, I'd really like to visit, I just don't know anyone there even though the idea of the place fascinates me.
Mom just send the CD....very nice!! Let me know if you have any appearances while I am in Duluth......h thru Jan 3rd...All of my students will now be listening to your music for the next few weeks...now C&T will be a hit in Tampa, FL!!!!
Sorry I couldn't make it to the big fancy release show, I had to work....blccch. However, I still really want a disc, how can I get one? Tony should deliver it across the street...
