mylifeIt all started in the small town of Grand Forks, North Dakota (map) in the one-and-only United States of America. The day was the 5th of April—the year, 1990. At 8:40AM, a 9-pound, 4-oz, 21-inch baby was born; that baby, was me. As you might have already noticed, I was a pretty fat baby. To complement my fat God decided to bless me with an abnormally large head, which I later grew into in the span of 15 years. With such feats already acquired at birth I was looking towards a bright future, a future filled with hope and opportunity, a future that I could not have predicted if I was Nostradamus (Who?) himself. I was born into a 4-member family and the only pet we had at the time was my big brother AJ, who often climbed up the walls as if he was Spiderman around this time. My dad, Michael, was in the United States Air Force for about 5-years at this point, and my mom was a stay-at-home mom (as she had to take care of me). Also living with us was my Aunt (or mom's sister), Donna—a 14 year old who just got out of Juvie after getting in some trouble with the law. My mom's side of the family lived in Lompoc, California (map) and my dad's side lived in Southern Illinois, so far nothing has changed with those living arrangements. It wasn't until I was 4 years old when me and my family moved to our next home in O..Fallon, Illinois (map). Before taking the trip from North Dakota to Illinois we adventured off to California to meet Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt April and to drop off Aunt Donna with her family. I was sad about such a departure as I thought my Aunt Donna was my sister, luckily I was able to get over such a traumatizing event in the days that followed. Illinois holds most of my early childhood memories as I was there from the age of 4 to the age of 7. I started my years there in a preschool, which I later realized was a school for special kids. Thinking about it now, I remember I road a short bus and that the kids were a little, ah, different. Apparently I had a pretty rough speech problem, luckily only a slight lisp remains. I then went to the elementary/middle school that resided only a block away for K-2nd. Also during these years my dad's parents took trips to our house every other weekend and we went to their house in the country the weekends after were we saw uncle Greg and the dogs. We often had birthday parties and holiday celebrations at their house along with my uncle Terry, aunt Chris and cousin Shea. TO BE CONTINUED...
