About me: I am a bitter fat old married bastard.
I grew up in NYC as a miserable Hardcore kid in the early 80's. I left college and joined and loved the Army. (101st ABN, straight leg inf, then as high speed LRSD ...for those that know what that means). I still regret getting out sometimes... especially now. I spent a few years working for, and being, the man. I played in a kick ass HC punk band and toured and recorded a bunch. I got married and made a few great kids.
I spent the last dozen or so years working at the greatest rock club in the world, and watched helplessly as it, along with my last connection to my youth, needlessly died. I guess the "no future" lifestyle has to catch up with you at some point.
May 2007: Lately, I've been sleeping with ghosts. Sometimes it's hard to live with the past.
1 of my 15 minutes of fame
... I used to yell at microphones
Who I'd like to meet: There are several people I hope to someday meet... and if they're lucky, I never will.
Thanks for cheering for my beat down!!!... I had to see the movie again because so many people were talking and yelling after that punch that I missed all the words in the scene...

Brendan i was parusing youtube yesterday and found a video you uploaded. Low and behold there is a scowling 17 y/o version of myself in that hated brown jacket my parents got me. Thanks for the few more seconds of fame my good buddy.
X-Ray Spex?!?!??!?! Ok got burnt brain cells but didn't they do Plastic Bag? I used to..........well won't go there but yo thanks for reminding me. Hope your djing gig turned out good. I wanted to go so bad but the trip back to Staten Island is hell and I couldn't take off this week. Please do it again and goshdarnit!!!!! do it on a Friday or weekend. We all don't have the privilege of living in L.E.S. hahaha Oh saw this Breakdown video from Tompkins yesterday from '88. I was there and was looking for me. Jimmy from MP was there and damn looked so young. Damn we were young once? Dudes diving on concrete. Now THAT'S hardcore/punk.
You are the most amazing fan ever in the world and should be worshiped. I watched REC, it stalls a lot, but I can see why you like it, the unexplained and scary zombies. I love the scene of the undead walking up the stairs. I loved and am haunted by that freak thing, which I believed was a different TYPE of monster then the zombies --- though the "disease" is the same. It was kewl they tried to link possession with a virus that makes zombies. I can see that zombie look in DICK SMITH's make-up --- but, historically it is a stretch. http://www. bloody-disgusting. com/forums/image. php?u=18160&dateline=1210804258
