Music, for me, is endlessly engaging. It’s so engaging that I have no desire to write this and I want to get back to work. However, I hate having a day job- so I’m told that I need to promote myself and my music. I do actually love the fact that I can share my music with others through the internet, and I would rather that you just listened instead of reading this.
I’m also told that I should highlight my musical achievements and promote the musical undertakings that I am involved with, which I will do now:
*Current projects are "The Most Dangerous Race" and "The Young and Madlys". Past projects include "Volume Is Color", "Trillions", and "Birch" among many others (see top 4 friends below).
*Performed and recorded several times with legendary avant-garde composer Glenn Branca for his recent piece "Hallucination City".
*A string quartet of mine was selected for the 2004 International Music Festival held in 5 cities in Nicaragua. It was performed by string orchestra and conducted by Urz Leonhardt Steiner.
*Performed and recorded with numerous bands as a guitarist and a drummer (most notably Canasta and Scissors For Lefty)
*Studied classical guitar at Cal Poly and graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in Contemporary Writing and Production.
I also teach lessons in the Chicago area- let me know if you’re interested.
The songs on this page are recordings I made at home. All of it was written, performed, produced, recorded and mixed by me. I sincerely appreciate it if you take the time to listen. Thanks.
Hey Pork- I dipped without you tonight it was fucking so excellent I wish you could have partook - but I don't allow fat kidz to my dip parties any longer- so Im sorry
sorry if that was weird. i think it was the ambien talking. the pictures of you and your sister are funny and cute. and remembering correctly, unambiened, it was actually brian and not you who was the lackey for sasha and i on our photobooth run this fall. so it makes even less sense and is even less funny. i'm working on that. next time will be funny as hell, promise. hope you're well.
hot new pictures, genius. i think from now on you can only take pictures in photobooths. they really bring out your beauty. i mean your booty. i mean. never mind.
Yeah, it's been pretty good fortune so far. Your stuff is quality; really well done. And I haven't even had the chance to snake around through all of your side projects and past bands yet...
There is no way I'd be playing music if it wasn't for you. I don't know if I should thank you, or kill you for that reason. I love your music, though. I'm really proud of you, and can't wait to hear what's next.
Stop snoozing ang get up already so we can "hang out".
What's new is great, and what's new-and-improved is even better than before. Multi-layered goodness, like a pastry to savor...or devour. Speaking of which, I really think you should start a petition to make "synesthetic" a musical genre on here...
