Sounds Like
Damien Rice and Elvis Costello fighting over who gets to use the Moog next...
His music has been compared to Elvis Costello and the Cure amongst others. Finger plucked guitars abound, allied with two-fingered keyboard riffs, melodic vocal lines, a catchy turn of phrase and a refreshingly positive attitude. First released by Mango Music on their For Your Machine compilation (both Josh Ritter & Neosupervital were other notable contributors) he went on to release his debut EP on his own label in 2003.
Since adopted by Irish "No Disco" website irishmusiccentral.com as one to watch for the future, 2006 saw him being highlighted by Tom Dunne on his "Pet Sounds" radio show as a Rising Artist, and fitting TV & festival appearances and constant gigging into an increasingly busy schedule.
Bill's debut album "Ill Tear My Own Walls Down" was released Feb 23rd and is available physically from all good record stores in Ireland and online from iTunes + various others.

This is the "Offer Up the Hope" video made with lots of furniture and some snazzy "special" effects... Directed by Dylan Byrne
This is a video made for "The Pull of the Pint" by Aidan Holland and The Boy
Here be a live video of "Devilette" recorded earlier on this year in Tullamore.
Looking forward for tomorow, you really do have great tunes bro. Offer up the hope is my favorite at the moment... might change my mind after the gig... Peace and cheese, BenOit.
I made this album that maybe you’d be interested in. It has tall tales, big brass, quiet melodies and sometimes a pop song breaks out. There is a journal on my site of how I started it without a clue, lost faith in it more often than not and bizarrely managed to finish it - finished recording it, then finished mixing it then finished pressing and printing it. The album is called YOU’RE AN ELCTRON I’M AN ELECTRON
If you’re free on Friday 3rd October, check out my album launch in Radio City.

I'm not doing too good on the caffeine thing either, I switched to coffee one day when we were out of tea, and now I'm finding I'm having about 3-4 cups a day... and I always HATED coffee... maybe it's a 'becoming an adult' thing.
Well judging by your gig calendar, you've been keeping busy, you'll become the irish james brown as the hardest working man in show business! that was james brown wasn't it? How many times have you played the Ruby Sessions now? That's fantastic!

I burst into laughter fits too. It's madness. Always glad to have excellent musicians as friends. Hope to catch a gig either here or Eire. Best wishes, MD
