Big Thirsty Towels began as the experimental multi-loop project BrotherSync in 1999.
Meeting by way of 'Looper's Delight' (http://www.loopers-delight.com/loop.html) there was a musical get together of loopers in Boulder.
To see what would happen.
During these musical sessions the warp evolved with Oberheim Echoplex Digital Delay, electro harmonix 16 second delay, Lexicon Jamman.
Influences and instruments absorbed, there was no discussion about what to play or how to play, they just played. No one assigned a particular role, it just happened.
Threads became songs.
The Towels weave a diverse musical background with a common interest in composing and recording music in real time.
Big Thirsty Towels' plan:
There is no plan.
The concert was great! Sorry about the poor phone quality. The next person I talked to had no problems, but that doesn't rule out that my phone was the culprit. It is crap.
thousand thanks for finding me and your kind words, really appreciate it,really intriguing sounds you are creating here...is a pleasure to be connected!
Thanks Bret. I really appreciate that. I stumbled onto a pretty good tune with Winter. I'm glad to see you're still making very good, very unique music...which is exactly what I'd expect from you. John
Hey Bret, Great Stuff! So much to explore in these tracks. I like the soundscape you create on "In the End". Is that Toe barking towards the beginning?
