About Bent Left

We are a punk rock and roll band from Kansas City, MO, hell bent on doing our best to bring positive change to the world. We try to stay on the road as often as possible, so keep your eyes on our calendar, and come hang out with us some time. We're all relatively nice guys, and we suffer only minor hinderances in our ability to communicate. We've been on tour in support of our most recent release "Premeditated Insanity" since this past January, and the end is nowhere in sight. Pittsburgh-based activist/skateboard organization Stay Vocal (www.stayvocal.com) has been cordial enough to send us across the entire U.S. on what has been dubbed "Stay Vocal or Shut Up! The Proverbial Knowledge vs. Your Mouth" tour. We'll be hard at it until at least August, when we hope to record our next full length "Rocket Surgery." If you're lucky, we might even sneak an acoutic EP in there somewhere just to keep you coming back. You can preview some of our tracks right here on myspace. You can also hear songs off of our 2005 release "Skeletons In Your Closet." In fact, you can stream that entire record on our website. If you like what you hear you can purchase it at www.bentleft.com, but we highly recommend just coming to a show and getting us sedated enough to cut you a sweet deal. That's how we do.
