Formed some thirty years ago when Mr. Snivellus placed an ad in the Daily Prophet seeking similarly inclined musicians to jam with and record, The Band-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named have since established themselves as the wizarding world's most feared heavy rock group. The band toured extensively in th early eighties - with rumours of a rift between Mr. Snivellus and Evil Bellatrix (apparently caused by an irresolvable mutual jealousy) being regularly denied by chief spokeswizard Riddle. After a succession of high profile hits like 'Rise 2 Power' and 'Prophesy' the band seemed to disapparate from public view, their falling star eclipsed by new acts like Harry and the Potters, the Remus Lupins and others. They have, however, seen something of a resurgence in recent years - their raucous cover of Soul II Soul's 'Back To Life' surging into the public consciousness two years ago, quickly followed by a number of now legendary secret gigs and an ongoing world tour. The future looks bright for The Band-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named!
