There are 27 million people enslaved in the world today, that's more than all four hundred years of the The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. The movie is about the fight to stop it, using tools we already have. I know everybody's busy, but there are 27 million people out there hoping somebody will take the time to care. We ARE our bothers keeper.
At least we should be.
The solution to every problem begins with a single, defiant voice. Your voice. -Quote from C+R website

truly amazing music, blur always seems to find a way onto my page periodically and it's just a great song, and it calms me down and it's just to great. it reminds me of a rainy night...it's really peaceful. great job. :D
ahh the all err of the information age manifested through wikipedia. I always keep up with anberlin through wiki, and I see that anchor & braille has changed their name to Deicide (meaning God is Dead)... that didn't sound like the Stephen Christian that writes songs for my favorite band Anberlin. Wikipedia is wrong. The side project is still Anchor and Braille. (and yes Dead Poetic is still together)
Thanks for covering The Smiths, I bought "The Queen Is Dead" because of that song and I love their music and it..s a shame I didnt know them before. I know you/Anberlin didnt like covering other band..s songs but I..m glad u did ;)
Maybe you..ll cover "Cemetry gates" one day, would be great :P

Hey, Stephen! Thanks again for such a great show the other night in Seattle. I'm very excited about what the future holds for Anberlin and for you! You really are someone who is blessed with a lot of talents and who obviously strives to bless other people. Keep it up!
- Billy (guy who stood outside the gates for Mae!)
ps thanks for not laughing at me for getting stuck on the outside of the gates!
thanks for all the incredible music. you're a major inspiration, and not just musically. i never really gave much thought to volunteering, even just around my community, but after reading about your trips on your blog and all the good you've done, i was motivated to do some research online, and found a few small volunteer opportunities i plan on tackling over the summer. so i just wanted to say thanks, i'm sure i'm not the only one you've inspired.
ps: when's the record coming out, because i'm not convinced that you've been asked that enough!
hey stephen. just heard about your book and it sounds awesome. how's it all going. we're a couple of high school kids who have just started a kinda acoustic indie band. if you've got like a spare 5 mins check out our tracks and tell us what you think.
peace,
tom
vennear.
