Yeah, I have to agree with Brandon on that. Ben, I challenge you to write anything. Period. Instead of whining about other people's music, why don't you make some of your OWN if it upsets you so much. Nuff said. Your a clown.
your rant about anberlin selling out makes no sense at all??? for one "cities" is anberlin's most diversed album and by far has the least amount of "Mainstream" vibe. Not to mention the songwriting is sheer brilliance compared to most bands writing songs out there. and What do you mean "experimental-post-modern-mathcore "" were not talking about August Burns Red!! anberlin isn't even close to those genres!!?!?!
you obviously don't hear the shit on the radio now days because anberlin has not ripped off a single artist out there. and i dare you to try to prove me wrong because you wont. these guys are setting an example in the industry, there showing the world that there are still bands out there that are all about the Music and fans. so i dont really know what your deal is but you may want to re:think things about this band because there is no way there "sell-outs"
and btw ive been a fan since the beginning, ive seen them play live numerous times, if anything theses guys care more and put even more work into there material than they use to.
I am not 100% where your sound has been heading or whatever it is you're trying to pull off since the album "Cities" - but as an ex-fan I've sort of had enough.
Listening to Blue Prints actually makes me sad when I compare it to the sort of shit you write these days. Sure you have a million 12yr old fans who can't get enough...but then again they're the same sort of people that rush out to buy the latest shit-sounding-wannabe-experimental-post-modern-mathcore bullshit that is flooding the music market these days.
I do realise the fact that you guys came out with some fucking GREAT songs. I mean awesome. But I'm just sick of great bands, like Anberlin that sell out in an attempt to reach a bigger audience. It's fucked up.
