one night i went to the paramount theater in seattle to see my favorite band play. they went onstage and started the intro to their first song, but the lead singer was still off to the side of the stage, and all i could see was the burning embers of his cigarette. and just as they got to the first big moment, he threw his cigarette down and somebody handed him his guitar, and he flew in from the shadows and landed on the first crash of cymbals in a mess of hair and sound and hope... and that’s when it started.
alex lives with his two dogs in a little beach town north of san diego, where he writes and records while logging as much surf time as possible. look for a new album august 2008, and a preview single/video release of "beautiful now" available on itunes may 6th.
