You name it, I am most likely interested in it. For posterities sake(If myspace is still around) I'll name a few recent interests. Euchre(Cards in General), Law, Rock Climbing, Roller Blading, Cubs, Sox, Bears, Guitar, Engineering and the Sciences, School, learning new things, music of all sorts, fixing cars, bags, croquet, reading, frisbee golf, 24, fighting terrorists, more to be named...
Music
I like all kinds of music, with the exception that there is very little country I can really enjoy. I currently listen to mostly alternative music like Panic! at the Disco, Taking back Sunday, Blue October, The Feint, Spinto Band et cetera. I used to be big into Classic rock, and I enjoy techno music a lot too.
Movies
I certainly am into movies and like to buy DVD's. Here are some movies on the top of my list..Equilibrium, Batman: Begins, Reqium For a Dream, Pi, Boondock Saints, Existenz, Napoleon Dynamite, Godfather and most other Pacino movies such as Scarface, Dog Day Afternoon, Stand by Me; and about a million others make my top list.
Television
I like_Seinfeld, News_Radio , Family_Guy,_Lost,_24,and Battlestar_Galactica, The_Office, 30_Rock,_Heroes.
Books
I like to read, however, law school takes up all my reading time. I now spend lots of time reading cases about contracts, torts, property law, and civil procedure. Sounds lame, but I love every page. Some books I'm fond of are Cat's Cradle, I am Legend, Breach in the Watershed, and some random other stuff.
About me:
I suppose "about me" should be up to date, join me in learning about the current Atom. I am a college graduate from Northern Illinois University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. I have spent the past year living in Fort Worth, Texas. I attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law during my stay. I am currently working with the Federal Public Defenders for the Northern District of Texas. Basically, I help put "criminals" back on the street.
I recently transfered to University of Illinois Law. I am excited about starting at a new school.
I believe that I am a very easy going person. I am always up for something new and different. I live by my own philosophy that you should try anything and everything at least twice. I prefer to try things until I like them though. I just like to hold my friends to the at least twice rule.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet some cool people in Champaign that can show me around town and just have fun with. If anybody happens to come across my profile, give me a message, let's do something.
I'd definitely be interested in going to the game, especially if you can get decent tickets. I've always access to bad seats and its just not worth going if you can't sit with students and/or get good seats. Sitting at the top of the dome sucks!
The movie was good. I wasn't expecting much but its definitely worth renting. Its not really cheesy like most horror flicks these days.
As a U of I student you should be ashamed of yourself for not knowing that pic! Its the HAL 9000 from "2001"!
"Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you."
Coming home for christmas? I'll kick your ass in a game of bags! call me, we'll go to fattys. Bring a partner! you are toast. If I don't see you have a great christmas, I'm sure you need the break. Thank you for what you have contributed to my life. I think you are swell.
Hey! Hope everything is still going well...are you going to be around on the 29th after the Penn State game? I want to meet for drinks. Let me know, Nicole
This tail, for your info, is not to be stepped on. I don't care what you were doing, you should have been careful. Of course I'm down here - a cat must inspect the drawers at all times - it's my job! Now watch out for this tail!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! i have class for eight hours, so i thought i'd tell you know. i am so psyched things are working out so well for you. Hope to see you soon. :) Nicole
