This is Johnny from New American Shame. Leslie Sanders from the Distractions and I have been working on some songs.
We are in need of a drummer and a couple guitar players, first and foremost. Also a piano and sax/horns and fiddle player will be needed as well at some point for studio songs and live shows.
If there is anything you might be able to help us out with it would be very much appreciated?
NEAL FROM COVEN HERE. WE HAVE HAD SOME MORE SPEED BUMPS IN GETTING OUT THE NEW STUFF.
WE HAVE A LOT OF MATERIAL WRITTEN, BUT FOR MANY REASONS ARE UNABLE TO GET A FINAL PRODUCT DONE.
IN THE MEAN TIME CHECK OUT MY NEAL BABBITT MUSIC MYSPACE AND MY OTHER PROJECT WITH DEAN, "PAIN EMPORIUM" ALSO ON MYSPACE. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON GETTING A SET DOWN TO PLAY SOME SHOWS!
i think its fairly good tunes thows of you that talk to harshly about the new tunes should try geting on stage and play something youre self quote un quote go fuck youre mommas mom coven will all ways be coven no matter what keep up the tunes dean..
I like the sound of the music on these new Coven tunes, but the vocals are weak. Blessed is a classic masterpiece and Out Of The Grave is the best tune ever! I look forward to the new cd release and hoping to catch you guys on tour.
Great tunes the vocalist sounds like Moronic Dictator from Green Jell-O (Green Jelly) Fame! Except for Do you know Satan? Keep Coven alive I'm from the Graduating class of '88 MLT High! I love Blessed and still listen to it today. Out of the Grave is by far my favorite Coven song. Keep the faith, Robert
