To the world, Nick Jonas is a Grammy-nominated pop star, Broadway actor, and one-third of the Jonas Brothers. But to Malti — the 2-year-old daughter he shares with wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas — he’s better known as dad. 

While chatting with People at JonasCon on Sunday, March 23, the 32-year-old Camp Rock alum opened up about the parenting moments that matter most.

“You could feel like your coolest self on top of the world, and [Malti] just doesn’t care at all,” Nick joked. “She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else.”

The “Jealous” singer added, “Just the fact that I’m just dad when I’m home, it means a lot.”

The candid chat comes just days after Nick posted a selfie rocking what looked like an assortment of Malti’s hair accessories — including a light blue bow, a white flower clip, and a few pink additions. “Girl dad life,” he captioned the snap via Instagram. 

Meanwhile, Priyanka has been showing her support as Nick takes the stage at the Hudson Theatre in New York City.

“I still cannot get over what I saw last night,” the 42-year-old award-winning Bollywood actress wrote on Instagram after watching Nick perform in The Last Five Years. “This show is so special in such incredible ways, and they’re both so talented🥹🥰🤯.”

The couple first met at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2017 after weeks of texting. By July 2018, they were engaged, and five months later, they said “I do” with back-to-back ceremonies in India.
