Based in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, Wonderbeast currently comprises guitarists, Francis McKenna and Oliver Djurasovic, drummer Nick Amarant, who have been active in the band since 2010, and recent 2013 additions Zach Amarant on bass, and Patrick Baguley on keyboard.

Since their beginning, Wonderbeast has gone through a few line-up changes, most notably, the change in Nick’s role in the band from frontman/vocalist (in 2010) to full-time drummer (from 2011-present), in the wake of the sudden departure of their original drummer in 2011.

Since then, the band has been struggling to maintain and complete their line-up, but remain focused and intent to return to the live scene once again in a brand new capacity.

With a wealth of original material already written, but without the band members they need, it is for the band just a matter of time until they can play again live. Their 2012 demo EP, titled ‘The Best of a Bad Situation,’ is now available online, which was made with “homemade” bass and vocal takes in the absence of full-time musicians.
