WHY AMNESIA is an alternative rock band from the Ruhr area of Germany. In the past few years to present they have performed on local festivals as well as in clubs or smaller pubs. They were even lucky to support US desert rocker RICH HOPKINS and his bands “Luminarios” and “Sandrubies” on some of his various German clubtours in Frankfurt, Wesel and Essen.

The debut album entitled STEREO was released in summer 2012, sounding quite down-to-earth in today´s multimedia-based world. The appeal of the ten album songs lies in ear catching melodies and powerful guitar arrangements. They compare favourably with professional standards.

Going through some changes, WHY AMNESIA have been working on songs for their second album which is to be released in spring / summer 2015.
