I was born and raised in Mt. Carmel, IL. I Graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in "01". I moved to Crossville, IL after graduation. Now I live in Carmi, IL and I am married and have 2 kids. I ran for Precinct Committeeman in the 2010 Primary Election for my Precinct and lost to my Father-in-law. I ran for Alderman in Ward 3 in Carmi, IL in April 2011 and LOST.My Fellow Lions, Friends and Family I am a member of the Carmi Lions Club of Carmi, IL. I became a member of the Carmi Lions on Tuesday June 8, 2010. I am going on my 4th year as a Lion in July 2014. Becoming a Lion is one of the most exciting things that I have ever done.
After only being a member for a year I was elected to the position of 2nd Vice President for the Lionistic Year of 2011-2012. That very same year I took over the position of President do to the recent President resigning and the 1st Vice President not being able to step into the position. I was elected the very next year to serve my full year as President for the Lionistic Year of 2012-2013.
I received the International Presidents' Leadership Medal for my Distinguished Leadership for the Lionistic year of 2012-2013. I have also held the position of Zone Chairperson for the Lionistic years of 2012-2013 and part of 2013-2014. I resigned from the position of Zone Chairperson for the Lionistic year of 2013-2014 on Tuesday December 3, 2013 due to medical reasons.
I hope that sometime in the future I can return to to the position of Zone Chairperson because I really like doing the job. But as for right now my health is the most important thing right now.
