Vincent Lendower is a composer and concert pianist.
He has been awarded a CNR gold medal and has composed the original soundtrack of “La dernière minute” which was nominated in 2004 at the Cannes Festival. In 2005, he won the Reus Festival Music Award, the 6th edition of the Emergence international contest as well as the Talent Cannes contest, alongside Laurent Tirard. He was awarded at the Europa Film Treasures contest in 2012, and has composed music for century-old movies such as “Sul Tetto Del Mundo”. He also composes music for advertisements and documentaries.

Since he is 16, Vincent Lendower plays his own musical compositions and arrangements in which improvisation holds an important place. His inspiration comes from diverse symbolisms: Kabbalah, Sanatana Dharma or even poetry. He also improvises music over silent movies. His different bands – ToTem, ElsaetVincent, Quiproquo – mix jazz, improvised music, klezmer or singing and regularly perform in France and internationally.

Vincent has met and keeps on meeting renowned musicians: Manuel Rocheman, Christian Martinez, Jonathan Pontier, Karl Jannuska, Anne Pacéo… and he has collaborated with artists from all backgrounds: drama, painting, photography, dance, mime…

In 2012 he won France Musiques’ contest Les Contes du Jour et de la Nuit for his musical short-story, “L’Odyssée de Sât et Nirî”.

As a piano-improvisation or computer-backed music teacher for over 15 years, he shares his passion for music during workshops, training courses and individual courses.

Since 2006, Vincent travels frequently to India and, as a volunteer, he composes music for Embracing the World, the NGO of Indian Sage Amma.
