John's music scene. Performing and writing music since the early age of sixteen, it proves a difficult task to pigeonhole Todd into any one particular genre as his musical style combines qualities of rock, pop, folk, and even country.

Todd regularly performs solo acoustic shows and as frontman in the band,"The Sleveens," on the infamous George Street, as well as for countless other venues, special events, and music festivals across Newfoundland. As a musician and songwriter, his aspirations were strengthened by his two top seventy appearances on Canadian Idol as well as his top ten finish in K-Rock’s song writing competition in 2010 , his top ten finish for Newfoundland in CBC's Searchlight competition in 2014 and two top twenty-five finishes in 2015.

In April 2015, Todd released his debut full-length studio album; a culmination of his many years experience as a working musician. The independently released "Define" features nine of Todd' s original tracks. This album was nominated by MusicNL for Pop/Rockrecording of the year.

Ultimately, Todd wants nothing more than to establish himself in the Canadian music industry and to have the opportunityto showcase his love and passion for music in front of audiences on a national l and international level. But for now, he has his sights set on promoting his first full-length album in his home province of Newfoundland, so that the devotion he holds for his music can be heard by all .
