Formed in late 2009, Timeshares are a New York pop-punk quartet who originated in the town of Suffern.
They sported a freewheeling, aggressive sound that owed as much to the alt-country movement as to their pop-punk forebears. They made their debut on a split 7" with the band Captain in 2010, and followed it up a year later with their first LP, Bearable, on Kiss of Death Records. They continued to record, offering up an additional pair of split singles in 2012 and 2014 and touring the country before signing with Side One Dummy in early 2015. Citing bands like the Replacements, Lucero, and Superchunk as major influences, they released their follow-up LP, Already Dead, in April of 2015 and embarked on a European tour. ~ Timothy Monger
