To come directly to the point: THINNER are just as rude, naughty, and
forward as hardcore punk used to be in the good old days. That should

not surprise anyone, considering that these three fellas build upon a

strong foundation laid in the late 80s and early 90s, when their teenage

selves went skateboarding all day, read Thrasher Magazine, and listened

to bands such as Minor Threat, Insted, Black Flag, Dag Nasty, Dead

Kennedys, Operation Ivy, Descendents, Adolescents… Short, dirty

hardcore punk smashers, fueled by passion and filled with anger, that

come at you full throttle to blow your ear canals clear. While the hardcore

influence is predominantin their music, THINNER always sound snotty

enough to form an indispensable part of every punkrock collection. Their

lyrics, however, never come across as preachy or pointing fingers - THINNER just tell stories of losers, winners, dropouts,

junkies, masochists, wackos, and egoists. The new album, "Say It", which is due to be released in March

2013, is an excellent summary of all of the above, capturing the spirit of Berlin's scruffy streets in 15 songs in 24 minutes.

For hardcore punk connoisseurs, "Say It" will be an essential part of this year's summer soundtrack!

THINNER's first release was "Backwards", a 2-song-EP which was published as download-only in the summer of 2010.

In December 2012, 1000 copies were pressed as single-CDs and distributed for free via several mailorders and record

stores. This campaign was supported by Core Tex, Fuze Magazine, Blackstar Amps, Ox Magazine, and Midsummer

Records/Cargo Records.
