Bands formed in high school rarely achieve long-standing success.
The Sindicate is a significant exception. With a ferociously exciting sound inspired by reggae and grunge-rock, The Sindicate formed in senior year of high school out of eviction, when three members were kicked out of their parents’ house. They promptly moved in together, taking advantage of their vacated situation by throwing nightly house parties that became the talk of their Northwest hometown. The parties were epic, but they realized something was missing: a band. The Sindicate was formed to liven up a great party, and over one decade later continue to pack in crowds with a fervent and invigorating sound.

On stage, The Sindicate is renowned for their energy and chemistry. The art of live performance is one they have been perfecting since their high school house parties in 2005. Within the past year, they have opened for Slightly Stoopid, The Wailers, Natural Vibrations, Stick Figure, Passafire and Mad Caddies. The Sindicate is also a Northwest festival favorite, winning spots and prizes at Portland's Hempstalk (2011, 2013) and Seattle's Hempfest (2012, 2013). The Sindicate has also toured the west coast three times, with their fourth scheduled for Winter 2014.
