The Score was a British band signed to English Decca in 1966.
They made their debut with a freakbeat style cover of the 1963 Beatles hit "Please Please Me," which never charted but caught the attention of compilers decades later, turning up on Chocolate Soup for Diabetics. Their B-side, "Beg Me," was compiled a decade later. ~ Bruce Eder
