'Crybaby Bridge' is the much anticipated follow-up to highly successful and critically acclaimed predecessor, 'The Sun’s Going Down'. This 11 song CD illustrates why The Pozers are still considered, by many, to be one of the most original, creative, and intelligent bands in music today. The Pozers continue to display their trademark formula of power pop/rock: featuring gifted lead vocalists/songwriters, lyrical depth, melodic hooks, rich vocal harmonies, and punchy guitars--while showcasing a flair for diverse styles and eclectic rhythms and instrumentation.

The Pozers have created a unique, defining ultra-catchy sound--challenging the mediocrity of modern rock radio, while “giving the finger” to the conventional “band” format. The Pozers pushes the musical gamut ranging from the lush Sgt. Pepper meets Pet Sounds chorale brilliance, to bluesy-piano and Cheap Trick styled power pop.

Based out of Dallas Texas, The Pozers were formed by singer/songwriter Jim Richey in 1994 (as a vehicle to showcase his songs) and began playing the club circuit throughout the southeast United States. Their "big break" came when 6th Floor Records’ president, Mark Lee, caught the band’s show at Dallas City Limits, and the next week, signed The Pozers to a recording contract.

Since their formation, The Pozers have released 7 CD’s and a video: CRYBABY BRIDGE (2019), THE SUN'S GOING DOWN (2012), EMBRACE YOUR ADDICTION (2005), YOU JUST DON’T GET IT DO YOU (2002), COVER THIS (1998), The Pozers--In Search of Kenny Swann--the Movie? The Pozers have appeared in numerous magazines and their music has been featured on radio stations all over the world. Manager Mark Lee said, “The Pozers are the greatest songwriters and music creators I have ever known. They are very streetwise, sarcastic, and funny. And their intelligence and lyrical depth is unparalleled. In fact, Richey has a Doctoral degree and a Master's in English Literature and is a published author/poet. Kenny Swann has computer design and programming background.

With these varied (yet prestigious) individual backgrounds, it is easy to see why The Pozers have long since been touted as "the thinking man's band" by most critics.
