The Amber Tapes, originally from Manchester, released their first EP in 2010 on German underground label Against it Records (AIR). Since then there have been 3 full album releases, 'Otsu' (2011), 'Mu' (2014) and 'Tík' (2016), and collaborations with avant garde fashion house Vibradios, including a streamed EP download and video installation for 'Anomalia' (2015), and a special pre-release mix of 'Tík' for 'Selfie' (2015).

Tracks feature live analog electronics, layered over intricately processed field samples, tape loops and minimal beats... adding and taking away until something happens. These tracks are organic, never planned: sometimes tracks start on a particular thread and end at an entirely different destination; sometimes they splinter into nothing.
