The Exiles are on a mission to inject revolution back into rock’n’roll.
Their debut album Universal Suffering is out now. It’s a ten-point programme of classic, sociopolitical punk rock and ska. UK Top Ten producer Guy Forrester (Echo & The Bunnymen, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) is at the controls.

Universal Suffering is a punk rock document holding up a cracked mirror to a dysfunctional society. It’s a riff-heavy call to arms delivered with the passion of The Clash playing Times Square.

From anthemic live favourite Sympathy for Dying Dolls to the melodic groove of From Nowhere to Nowhere. From the amphetamine-ska cover of Jimmy Cliff’s The Harder They Come to the indie-skank of Alphaville.

Universal Suffering is on the cult Matchbox Classics label.
