THE GUESTS are a Russian Gothic Rock band formed in Moscow in October 2002.
The first incarnation of what became THE GUESTS was The Unholy Guests. In a very short time the band gained fame to be one of the successful on Russian dark stage of that time. Among the most significant achievements of THE GUESTS is the annual Halloween fest «Edge of the Night VI» performance in 2003 (alone with L'AME IMMORTELLE (Austria), DUST HEAVEN (Ukraine)), a successful gig at the biggest Gothic festival in Eastern Europe «Castle Party 2004" in Poland (sharing stage with CLAN OF XYMOX, SUICIDE COMMANDO, DEINE LAKAIEN). In 2005 the band was again invited to the festival «Edge of the Night VIII», where they performed with the famous Austrian gothic rock band SANGUIS ET CINIUS. THE GUESTS released three EP-s “Black Clouds, Red Skies” in 2003 and “Wild Side of Life” in 2005 and “Soft Rains” in 2011. The full length album of those years was “In…Silence”, released in 2005. Gothic community was very complimentary about those. However, time has passed and had taken some of past fame for The Guests. During the following years (ca. 2006-2014) The Guests experienced various disagreements and problems inside the band. “The Cold Heart Dreams" (“Сны Остывшего Сердца” in Russian) which was finally released in 2014 performs new chapter in the band’s history. New band members and refreshed musical material starts now the new beginning of THE GUESTS.
