Tony was first exposed to music and theater by his parents who are singers as well. Growing up in a musical home Tony began taking piano lessons at a young age alongside his older sister. However, his performance time was limited to churches and talent shows in the Lake area community until his freshman year in high school, where he discovered a love for not only traditional gospel music, but musical theater, and Opera as well. Tony went onto study Vocal Performance and Theater Arts at Northwestern State University where he cultivated his craft. He has since gone on to perform in Theaters,Houses of Worship, cathedrals, and various Opera houses around the world;including New York’s Carnegie Hall, and Harlem’s own Apollo Theater. Tony is currently completing a recording project that he feels “expresses a blend of all the types of music and various art forms that have influenced and inspired me over the years.”
