Tanqueray Locc
Tanqueray Locc is a veteran hip-hop lyricist, R&B vocalist & producer. He has been composing some of the roughest, gangster, hardcore street music in the midwest since the early ninety’s. In association with his good friend Heat, they started making music together in 1991, under the influence of Tanqueray Locc’s oldest brother William (K-wood) Lacy. This would be the beginning of a long road that lead to one of the most prolific production teams in the midwest. While helping his older brother (K-WOOD) achieve his dreams Tanqueray Locc soon began to realize his own desire to sit at the table of great producers and writers world wide.

With his knack for funky bass lines, erie worms and melodic under tones that soothe the soul, he is no doubt one of the best at his craft. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota Tanqueray Locc is well known on the streets as well as the clubs in this city with such a great music history. Having faced hard times early in age Tanqueray-Locc is no stranger to the street life. Having already lived what is portrayed in todays (trap music) era. He feels this is the greatest time for his craft to shine and be recognized. Having took to the road performing across the midwest and making connections all across the united states, he sees his music fitting in at all levels of todays industry standard rap music. In many cases he feels that his music is superior to a lot of productions that have grossed millions and generated thousands of fans.

After losing his mentor, best friend and father figure, his older brother William (K-Wood) Lacy who was gunned down in North Minneapolis, Minnesota in july of 2005, Tanqueray Locc has been a none stop force.
