Born and raised in London, England to Emmanuel & Funmi Jiboye and the first of 7 siblings. Ted who took to singing at a very early age believes his journey of being a Worship leader began during his early years whilst living in Nigeria.

"I left London to go back to Nigeria with my parents when I was just 6 years old but traveling back to Nigeria was a real shock to my young system & completely different to what I was used to here in England. My parents were devout Anglican Church goers and heavily involved in church life so it was no surprise that I took a keen interest in the church choir. It was my time in Nigeria as a young chorister that really gave rise to my calling as a Worship Leader.

Ted remembers singing from his ‘Ancient and Modern’ hymn book as it was so called and being in the soprano section, a section that he didn’t take kindly to and recalls pleading continuously with his choir master to be moved to the Bass section where the big men sang. “Eventually my choir master reluctantly agreed and I soon became the only 18 year old kid in the Bass section” those were fun times as Ted recalls "it holds a lot of wonderful and fun memories"

"I remember as a young boy listening to the likes of Ron Kenoly, Bob Fitts, Don Moen and a few others and must admit listening to those guys lead worship changed my life forever and for the first time I could sense God's presence and knew it every time he showed up. Having that experience and allowing others to experience the same, became my hearts desire, bringing the awareness of God, his presence, his love and grace to everyone, Christians & non Christians alike and to also join in the celebration of the goodness of our king.

His first music project was released on the 30th of Nov 2011 and titled ‘'You are the one'’ The making of this album had been in the pipe line for a very long time as Ted recalls "I talked about it for years and months, I even danced & shouted about it but deep down inside I was clearly afraid and wasn’t too sure if I should, could or shouldn’t go ahead and the fear of it kept me bound. It’s amazing what fear does to us. However the minute I decided I was going to do something and took a stand, God brought folks around me who were and have been a blessing in every way. so for me this project is an expression of my heart and how I feel about God".

The 6 tracked album starts off with An Exaltation and includes songs such as Beautiful & My Desire and an old classic hymn known to many titled I Need You.

For his first project Ted teamed up with his producer and good friend Chanel Kiasi of Kiasi Productions. And of Chanel Ted says

"“Chanel is brilliant and possesses an amazing talent, he brings something special to this project and has been instrumental in bringing it to life. The Exaltation & My Desire, two of the song on the album were also recorded and partly produced by another good friend in Stuart Green of The 3 Chronicles Studio also in London.

The Towdah Music family consists of individuals from all walks of life, from full time musicians to Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, Teachers, Students, Graphic Designers and full time parents. It clearly is a family affair. Together their sole purpose is to lift up the name of our God & King.

Ted is first and foremost a family man and is married to Ade his wonderful wife of 15 years and counting and together currently live in Bedfordshire with their 5 wonderful kids.
