Tahyira Savanna is a young entrepreneur currently residing in the Brooklyn area of NYC.
She is a graduate with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. It was while writing her master’s thesis that Tahyira realized she can use her voice to change how things are. The 60 page thesis covered global Human Trafficking, an issue Tahyira finds very important and tremendously unknown to many.She realized that knowledge is power and it is important to let your voice be heard. She began exploring entrepreneurship after she lost her job at the law firm she worked during her last 2 years at the University. She founded The RedEyeMediaGroup in 2011 as a platform for young up and coming talent to showcase their work through different events. She partnered with her college classmate and the two have been working together to build their own empire. She currently serves as President to the company.Before launching The RedEyeMediaGroup, Tahyira took on the role as being a talent manager to unknown artist Frankito The Model. Frankito is currently pursuing a career in fashion and film. She has managed him from the very beginning establishing his name is the underground, developing his portfolio, providing support and guidance. It was then she decided to launch Tahyira Savanna Inc as a way to separate the entities of her various roles.
Underneath her title as President to The RedEyeMediaGroup, she has also provided support to many artists, helping them to reach their full potential.
In October of 2011, Tahyira took on another role as a daily blogger creating the site Fashion & Film & Music & Life. It started off as a hobby. She used the blog as way to express her creative and inspirational side posting daily facts, photos, music, etc. relating to the sites title. She executive produced her first film project titled New Minds In New York in the Spring of 2012. She did not want to only inspire herself but also others that are pursuing their own goals. Tahyira believes that if you want to bring positive change in the world you must first begin with yourself.
