Symfonia is a Finland-based melodic metal project of international origin.
It's members amount to a supergroup from various progressive metal bands. Their founding members are Brazilian vocalist Andre Matos (Angra, Shaman); German drummer Uli Kusch (Helloween, Gamma Ray, Masterplan); Finnish guitarist Timo Tolkki (Stratovarius), and keyboardist Mikko Härkin (Sonata Arctica). Their debut album In Paradisum, was recorded at Sweden's Studio Mega in late 2010, and released by Edel in the spring of 2011. ~ Thom Jurek
