SUBWAY LIGHTS are a Nashville based rock band whose propulsive, melodic sound is a distinct blend of synth-pop textures, dramatic guitars, and bass-laden groove lead by resounding vocals.
SUBWAY LIGHTS music draws inspiration from, and comparison to, such creative artists like The Killers, The Cure, The Strokes, Editors, Joy Division, and The Bravery. The diversity of each member’s style and influences also contribute to their dynamic range, which mix elements of hard rock, industrial, post-punk, and new wave.

Formed in 2013 by founding members Gary and Alex, SUBWAY LIGHTS would enlist the talents of Jairo (The Worsties) on bass and Art (Tallest Trees, Tristen) on drums. Following Art’s departure, Nathan (The Worsties, Kat Smo, Wess Floy and the Daisycutters) would replace Art in 2014.

SUBWAY LIGHTS released their 4-track, self-titled EP in 2013, and has been building momentum through word-of-mouth, live shows, and radio airplay.
