Alto clarinet player Steven Kamperman was active for years in the heart of thepioneer world jazz formation Baraná. Singer Sanem Kalfa won theinternational Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in 2010. Guitarist GeorgeDumitriu won in his youth sixteen prices as a classical violinist before hedeveloped into a versatile and adventurous jazz guitarist.
