His lead instructor at the Non Commissioned Officers Academy for the U.S. Army called him one of the best pure teachers he has ever seen. Musicians that he has worked with have named him “Mr. Smooth” and his wife just calls him “Puddin”.Stephen Jerome Ferguson has been involved with music since the age of 12. At the time this was written, that gives this artist 45 years of practice, playing and studying almost every genre of music. His wife says that music is his mistress. Stephen will tell you that creating and playing music is his soul practicing to be like its creator. This man eats, sleeps and breathes music. It is his refuge. It is one of his many loves.

He got his start by playing Gospel music for choirs and Gospel quartets in the Washington D.C. area. Latter, he cofounded the R&B/Jazz group FFB in Europe. Stephen was addicted to the live performance. “On stage, I could let go. I could let my true self come out to play”.

Stephen then began to get into music production. He studied different mixing and mastering techniques, working on developing his own sound, his own smooth groove.

Stephen loves music and has a very deep respect for the art of creating. He believes in the independent artist and will do anything he can to let everyone know just how talented the indie artists are.
