After 10 years of classical studies he attends a three year improvisationstudy with Franco D'Andrea at “CentroProfessione Musica” in Milan 1987/89.
The following year hespecializes in a master course with bassist Dave Holland and drummer John Christensen.In 1990 at Terni Jazz University he studies with Mike Melillo.

In 1991 he attends a course atthe Manhattan School of Music of New York under the supervision ofpianist Harold Danko and trumpeter Lew Soloff.

During the past years he hasperformed in Italy, Austria, Germany and France with fellow musicians such asTino Tracanna, Bruno De Filippi, Alberto Nacci, Rosalynn Robinson, Davide DiGregorio, Stefano Colpi, Flavio Zanon, Walter Civettini, Gianni Basso, RudiMigliardi, Fiorenzo Zeni, Miki Loesch, Helga Plankesteiner, Nicola Fazzini,Enrico Tommasini, Beppe Pilotto, Irio De Paula, Francesco Bearzatti, StefanoBertoli, Roman Hinteregger, Peter Paul Hoffmann, Luis De La Crus, StefanoMenato, Alan Farrington, Gilson Silveira, Franco Testa and many more.



His musical range allows himto explore pop arrangements, composing music for documentaries, videoproductions and interactive CD-ROM work.

In 1995 his first album“People” is released under the independent label ERGA. From 1997 he collaboratesfor the HALIDON label (Milan) producing chillout and nu-jazz projects such as“Nomads” and “The Secret of Ra”.

Under this same label in 2002“Cimarosa Collective” is released, an electronic project involving DJ MarcelloDe Angelis and various artists from diverse musical experiences.

From 2003 he collaborates withSKY-TV.

In 2004 collaboration with theindependent label Self-Mediane seeshim produce “Divo Italiano” (2006) and “Songs to Remember” (2007).

In February 2009 he publishesthe solo-piano work “Malastrana” and in March 2010 "Insomnia-MalastranaQuartet" (M. Rosen-sax, John Arnold-drums, Flavio Zanon-doublebass) forthe Splash Records Label.

Since 1994 he has been head ofthe music section at Centro DidatticoMusicateatrodanza based in Rovereto(TN).

In the same school heteaches the piano andarrangement-software courses, as well as being head of all three music, danceand theatre courses since 2007.

Parallel to his musicactivities his passion for contemporary painting sees him produce and exhibithis art-work regularly round Italy.
