Preventive medicine includes wellness exams for all ages, vaccinations tailored to the patient’s need, internal and external parasite prevention and treatment (fleas, ticks, mange, hookworms, whipworms, tapeworms, heartworms, etc.), dental services, skin care, and eye-ear-nose-throat conditions. Diagnostic procedures routinely used are x-rays, ultrasound, echocardiograms, EKG’s, Blood chemistries, fiber-optic and rigid endoscopes, culture/sensitivity, allergy testing, and quick access to referral laboratories that complement our in-house capability with serology, histopathology, and endocrinology testing. We microchip pets and perform radiographs for OFA evaluation.
