I am a Traditional Country Music Singer Songwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
I write and sing my own original songs. I have a unique style and a bit of a yodel, when I sing. My goal is to ‘keep traditional country music alive’. I learned to play guitar and piano by ear. Music is a huge part of my daily life. I write songs about my roots, my way of life and things that inspire me. I wrote many songs about my life and I finally decided in 2011, I should record some songs for my family. I recorded my first CD of original songs in 2011.

It was the Grand Ole Opry that I watched every Saturday night and the dream to go there, that inspired me to write, 'My Place In Nashville Tennessee’. With that in mind, I was determined to move to Nashville, buy a big white house on a hill and I figured that my love for Country Music, would be all I needed to be a Superstar, like Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline. I was going one way or another.

My music career took me to Nashville, TN, where Record Producer, Doc Holiday heard a song I wrote and asked me to record it in Nashville, at one of his sessions. The song is called, ‘My Place In Nashville Tennessee’. It was a dream that has come true. US Country Radio Promoter, Gene Kennedy, released this song to US Radio and it-hit #18 on the STS US Radio Charts, three weeks after it was released.

I was raised on a farm, which included a market garden. I love fishing, hunting, trapping and living in the wilderness as this was a very memorable part of my life. My love and appreciation for wild animals and living in the wilderness is a big part of my music today. I wrote a song, ‘Canada Loves You With Pride’ for all the animals in the wild. The song is about them and me. Sales of this song are used to raise money for my Wildlife Foundation; Email: almasibleywildlifefoundationinc@yahoo.ca and to view the Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/almasibleywildlifefoundation the song is available, for purchase, Worldwide. I recently founded a Non- Profit Wildlife Foundation, ‘Alma Sibley Wildlife Foundation Inc.’. The object of the Corporation is to 'provide funding to assist and promote the preservation of forests and waterways for wildlife'.

I had the privilegeof singing two duet songs, I wrote, with Legendary Nashville Producer, Singer/Songwriter, Doc Holiday. Two powerful voices took the stage, as real Traditional Country Music was created. My new single, ‘It’s Hard But It’s Over’, featuring Doc Holiday, was released on October 9, 2015. The single release will also feature another song I wrote, ‘I Will Love You Forever’.

I recently wrote a song for a woman who lost her son, by a tragic train accident. He was a young man in his 30"s and her only son. In 2015, she asked me if I would be interested in writing a song for her, about him. I have finished the song and plan to record it but the date is not known at this time.

I have another album ready to be recorded, hopefully in 2016. My music is listened toWorldwide and for sale on many Internet Sites, with physical CD’s available by request, at CD Baby and my website: www.almasibley.com.

Today I Showcase my music at different venues with hopes of raising money for my Wildlife Fund and making that one hit record. Many dreams have come true in my life and I continue to strive for success in all the things I stand for. My music is much bigger today, than I ever dreamt it would be.

Music is my love, my life and my way.
