Spaceman is both a popular musician and consummate musical virtuoso who performs, produces, composes, and arranges all genres of music. His experience in the field of entertainment crosses a wide spectrum of abilities.

Patterson studied at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the New York Institute of Technology. He has also studied independently in New York City with Coleridge Taylor Perkinson and James “Blood” Ulmer.

He has established himself not only as a performing artist with musical credits that read like a who’s who in music. TV projects include “The Cosby Show”, “A Different World”,“Sesame Street,” “The Cosby Mysteries”, “One Life To Live”, ”Cosby”,“Fatherhood”, ”Unstoppable”, “New York Undercover” and “Literary Living”.Spaceman’s’ Theatre credits include “The Love Space Demands” with Ntozake Shange, “Thunder Knocking On The Door”, “Rhinestone”, “Pippin”, “Grease”,” Work Songs”, ” Mother Courage”, “Dream On Monkey Mountain”, “Ain’t Supposed To Die A Natural Death”(Audelco Award winner Best Music Direction), “If This Hat Could Talk”. His recent film credits include the Emmy nominated HBO film,” Unchained Memories, Readings From the Slave Narratives, ”, Polynesian Power”,“Unbreakable (Conversation w/ Gordon Parks Sr. Ossie Davis, and Melvin Van Peebles), and the award winning “Fast Pitch” the film for which he composed the original music. He was the producer/director of the TV show “Literary Living”.

In his collaboration with the legendary Bill Cosby, he has been entrusted to helm his studio project as the producer, arranger, writer, and coordinator. the project Bill Cosby Presents THE COSNARATI “STATE OF EMERGENCY” has pushed the envelope, showing other ways of creative expression utilizing rap narratives.

His vision has now placed him in the unique position to develop a 21st century working model of a multi-faceted media/entertainment company. The realization that we are in an evolving time in the history of the world of multi-media opens up a myriad of opportunities to forge a new entity of influence in the market place. Patterson draws on all his experiences in performance, media, arts, technology, etc., to help him carve out a place for a new paradigm in producing, packaging, and presenting the culmination of varied sources of intellectual content to the public.

To understand that the utilization of modern media as not only a marketing tool and news source, but also as a source of edutainment.This creative manner of merging entertainment with education, which he has learned in his dealings with Mr. Cosby, has inspired Patterson to branch out to pursue his vision of the continuum in the development /appropriation of intellectual properties for these purposes.
