SKYTAP ist eine deutsche Rockband aus Hamburg, bestehend aus den Mitgliedern Arno (lead-vocals/guitar), Hanjo (guitar/vocals) Jürgen (bass/vocals), Daniel (Drums)

Das Markenzeichen der Band ist ein kraftvoller, eingängiger Sound mit viel Melodie. Gemeinhin wird ihr Musikstil als „Modern Rock“ bezeichnet, in Bezug auf die Wurzeln und Einflüsse aus dem Hard Rock der 80. Jahre.

SKYTAP’s Musik ist anspruchsvoll, ehrlich und orientiert sich stark an dem Amerikanischen Rock. Das haben sie eindrucksvoll auf dem im April 2013 veröffentlichten Album „Full Scale“ mit 12 Songs untermauert.

Die Songs des Albums sind sehr melodisch, kraftvoll und die Balladen sind äußerst gefühlsbetont. Die Texte sind aus dem Leben gegriffen.

Der musikalische Stil ist ein Mix aus Hard Rock, Punk, Nu-Rock, Alternative Rock und ein wenig Grunge Rock, um nur einige zu nennen.

Es ist für jeden etwas dabei.

SKYTAP is a German band consisting of members Arno (lead-vocals/guitar), Hanjo (guitar/vocals) Jürgen (bass/vocals), Daniel (Drums). SKYTAP is based in Hamburg.

The band’s trademark is a powerful, catchy sound with a lot of melody. They’ve demonstrated it on their self-produced demo. The band is commonly referred to as playing modern rock, in reference to its roots in and influences from the Hard Rock of the 80s. The album “Full Scale” was released in April 2013. There’re 12 songs on it.

SKYTAP’s music is ambitious, honest and strongly American-Rock orientated.

The songs are very melodic, powerful and the ballads are extremely emotional. The lyrics are taken from real life.

The musical style is a mixture of Hard Rock, Punk, Nu-Rock, Alternative Rock and a bit of Grunge Rock, to name but a few.

There’s something to suit all tastes!
