A Norwegian black metal outfit that strove to put beats above brutality, Sjodogg began releasing a series of introductory demos (under the Demo Anno heading) in 2004.
With one a year appearing for three years, Sjodogg began to create a bit of a buzz, and were soon signed to Osmose Productions. Influenced by such giants as Death, Sabbat, and Bathory, Sjodogg (vocalist Vulnus, guitarist Dracunculus, bassist Tetrapus, and drummer Hordeolum) released their debut full length, Landscapes of Disease and Decadence, in 2008. ~ Chris True
