Former session drummer and backing vocalist in numerous bands and projects in Italy from 1995 till 2003.

Moved to London, UK in Spring 2003 where she began studying music production with her first DAW, creating her first home studio and giving birth to her solo music project: SistaSara.

The first four full-length albums featured a lot of acoustic instruments entwined with digital programming, while from 2012 onwards Sara focused more and more on sound design.

The London Dub scene was a crucial influence in her music development and it is a core factor in her music identity.

Sara is now an independent experimental Dub music producer.

Alongside her Solo productions, she collaborates with other fellow producers as a songwriter and vocalist and occasionally works as a producer featuring other singers.

Sara moved to Oakland, CA in Summer 2015.

London is still her musical hometown and her productions are a clear reflection of that.
